Support

Samoa House Library (SHL) is a community-led library and cultural space on Karangahape Road, Tāmaki Makaurau. We rely on the support of our community to sustain the library, care for our collection and make space for research, exchange and public programming.

There are many ways to support SHL, from making a donation or becoming a member to hosting an event in our space. We’re also interested in building lasting relationships with people who want to help sustain the library over the longer term.

Financial support

Financial contributions help us maintain the library, pay our staff, care for our collection and support the programmes and activities that bring people together.

You can support SHL directly by making a bank transfer:

• Account name: SAVE FINE ARTS LIBRARY

• Bank account: 06-0145-0779481-00

• Reference: [Your name]

If you would like to discuss donating, please get in touch at director@samoahouselibrary.org

Become a supporter

We’re looking to build relationships with patrons who share our commitment to sustaining Samoa House Library over the long term.

Multi-year commitments are particularly valuable, helping us plan ahead and maintain the library’s core activities with greater certainty.

Patronage can take many forms, and a meaningful contribution doesn’t need to be large. Regular support, committed over several years, can make a real difference to an organisation like ours.

If you’re interested in becoming a patron or discussing how you might support SHL, we’d love to hear from you.
